i have never been fond of the music scene, and the only show i have ever been to was when “le tigre” played in portland. and hopefully i never have to endure that again. i liked seeing the band play, but i did’nt know what to do, should i dance, sing along with all of the other tragic teenagers. or stand in the back looking to good to be there. and just watching this video, makes me not want to go to a show ever again! i would’nt mind going to a coffie shop show, or somthing smaller with a place to sit, drink somthing warm, and enjoy the music.

He also happened to be achingly funny such was the accuracy of his comedy. At the age of 13 Bill Hicks did his first gig. Six weeks before his death, aged 32, he did the last. In the intervening years he frequently did over 250 gigs a year. Those he inspired haven’t lost the ability to take a ride.
People use and misuse the word “tragedy” all the time. It seems to accompany the death of anybody famous. But the real definition of tragedy evokes a sense of loss and poignancy, a sense of someone dying before they really gave everything they had to offer. Without hyperbole, Bill Hicks’ death was a tragedy, for there was so much still to come from this creative, imaginative talent. When he died in 1994 the world lost a rare talent, but his spirit and philosophy still live on.

okay, today is just a day of dolls right now… i’m in a doll mood* any how here’s a band i listented to religiously back in early 2004 (or 2003? i dont remember*) but there a great band that will be/is well respected. haha, any how, here’s the first video i saw of them, and i played it olmost every day for that summer. <3, there still one of my fav bands!

this is one of the most amazing music video’s i’ve seen in a while, the concept/story touches me deep down in my bloody heart. it seems a bit slow though, and it got annoying after a while, but then was okay towards the middel. i don’t know what the song is called. but i would like to think the song was made for the video. <3 if you have more info please send me it!

<3 Okay, well as soon as i saw this video i had to put it on youtube.com(so i would’nt hog all of David Lehre bandwidth) and share it with my friends. I put it on my bullitin board on myspace, and showed it to most of my friends at school on my psp. (this was all about a month ago) i’m not sure if i posted it on my blog. so i’m doing so now. but a reporter from the LAtimes, was interviewing David Lehre, and she asked if she could interview me, because i got the film out there, with over 3,385,192+ views, and 404+ comments, it’s becoming a hit with our myspace generation. i feel bad that i put it on youtube with out David Lehre’s permission, (it was a nice intenntion) haha, but i got the film out there, and i don’t think he was wanting profit from that video, he just deserves some more respect, and a larger audience. so i gave that to him, the best i could! David Lehre is a smart and creative director, and i expect to see more great hits in the future!
